On 13, 14, 15, and 16 February, Seong-Jin Cho makes a highly-anticipated return to Los Angeles, playing Ravel’s Piano Concert in G with the LA Phil, under the baton of GRAMMY-winning conductor, Paavo Järvi. It’s a favorite of the pianist, who has described it as a continuous dialogue between piano and orchestra.

The program also includes Bacewicz’ Concerto for String Orchestra as well as Arnold Schoenberg’s orchestral arrangement of Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 1.

Those who can’t be in Los Angeles can hear this piece on the second release of Cho’s tribute album, Ravel: The Complete Piano Works, which will be released on 21 February.
