Seong-Jin Cho takes centre stage in Japan for a highly anticipated tour. Renowned for his virtuosity and expressive depth, Cho presents two distinct programmes, each a masterful journey through the works of Maurice Ravel and Franz Liszt.

Cho’s artistry shines in the first programme, navigating the evocative melodies of Ravel’s Sonatine in F-sharp minor, the grandeur of Valses nobles et sentimentales, and the evocative Gaspard de la Nuit. This programme also features a powerful exploration of Liszt’s Années de pèlerinage.

Programme two delves deeper into Ravel’s repertoire, showcasing the playful Sérénade grotesque, the elegant Menuet Antique, and the introspective Miroirs. The tour concludes with a triumphant return to Gaspard de la Nuit, the whimsical Valses nobles et sentimentales, and the profound Le Tombeau de Couperin.
