This month, Seong-Jin Cho joins the National Symphony Orchestra for their inaugural international tour under the direction of Music Director Gianandrea Noseda. Gracing stages in Madrid, Berlin, Milan, and Hamburg, Cho will enthrall audiences with his rendition of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, a captivating masterpiece that intertwines sublime melodies, dramatic contrasts, and technical brilliance in an emotionally resonant musical voyage. In a January preview of the program at the Kennedy Center alongside Noseda and the NSO, Cho’s performance garnered critical acclaim, with the Washington Classical Review praising his “immaculate interpretation,” which was “thoughtful and polished from the serene opening of the first movement.”

Cho and Maestro Noseda have cultivated a profound musical partnership over the years, exemplified by their collaborative recordings of Chopin concertos released by Deutsche Grammophon. Further details and purchase links can be found in Cho’s Discography. For additional information about the NSO Europe Tour, please visit the Kennedy Center website.
